WTCF(World Tourism Cities Federation) Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit is an important annual event that connects international tourism cities together through forums, panel discussions, tourism exhibitions, and conference meetings. The 5th Summit was held in downtown Los Angeles from September 19th to 20th 2017. The theme for this year’s summit is “Impact of Globalization on World Tourism City Development”. More than 30 mayors of tourism cities around the world including Beijing and Los Angeles, along with influential international tourism organizations and government officials attended the event.
Although WTCF has successfully held the past four summits in China and Morocco, there was not enough awareness of the organization and this summit in the region of North America, especially in the United States. To showcase the importance of this event in Los Angeles and promote its awareness, Novaland customized unique marketing and PR plans that generates the most media attentions for them. Before the event, we actively invited and engaged press from all around the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America using different marketing strategies, attracted important media outlets to attend and cover this event. A total of 104 international press covered this event, the total worth of the coverages is over $1.15 million USD. The media exposures this year surpassed the sum of the past for years, the greater recognitions and international awareness is leading the organization to a greater success in the future.
